Household Waste

Household Residual Waste Bin

Your Household Residual Waste Bin is for items that you cannot recycle. This might include disposable nappies and food waste.

By recycling all your paper, card board, garden waste, glass and cans, you should create more space in your normal refuse bin. As a result your residual bin is collected once every two weeks – in between your recycling weeks.

In an effort to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and encourage residents to recycle as much of their waste as possible, the Council will not uplift side waste from beside your bin.

Bulky items can be collected by the Council and their special uplift service.

Please contact Cleansing Services for further information.
