Subsidised Home Composters for East Ayrshire Residents

A home composters can reduce your household waste by up to 30%!

By recycling your kitchen and green garden waste you an create within weeks, your own compost which will enhance the quality of your garden soil.

East Ayrshire Council have entered into a partnership agreement with WRAP ( The Waste & Resources Action Programme) which allows residents to purchase a range of home composting bins at subsidised prices.

The bins, which come in a range of designs and sizes cost from £6.00 to £25.00. Therefore, depending on your space restrictions and the quantity of compost you wish to produce, there will be a home composter to suit your needs.
