RAD - RECREATION ACTIVITY DISCOUNT CARD
North of East Ayrshire - Kilmarnock and Loudoun area

RAD LogoThe RAD Card, available to all children attending East Ayrshire Primary Schools in the Kilmarnock and Loudoun area, provides:

  • FREE unlimited access to all Kids Club Network sessions throughout East Ayrshire
  • FREE unlimited access to C.H.A.M.P.S. (special needs sessions)
  • FREE membership card

DISCOUNTS

The RAD Card also entitles discounts on the following activities:

  • Discounted rates at specialist sports and arts workshops throughout holiday periods
  • FREE Kids Clubs
  • Discounted access to East Ayrshire's very own "Motivators On Tour" programme throughout holiday periods

COST

The cost of a RAD card is £10 per child or FREE if the parent or guardian is entitled to any of the benefits listed in the table below:. All cards will be valid until SHOUT Cards are issued.

Applying for a RAD Card:

Take passport sized photograph of child, payment or proof of benefit and complete an application form at one of the following card issuing centres:

THEN WHAT DO I DO?

Once issued with your RAD card you must keep a look out for posters with a Life Long Leisure or Recreation Partnership Project logo advertising leisure and recreational activities in your area. If you see "RAD" on one of these posters you can access that specific activity for the reduced rate highlighted. (Please note that only activities advertised using the RAD logo will be offered at a reduced rate).

Lost Cards

If you lose your RAD Card you should report it immediately to the centre where your card was issued. You can then apply for another card by filling in a new application form. You will need to bring a new passport sized photograph of yourself.
