RECREATION PARTNERSHIP PROJECT

The Recreation Partnership Project provides a dynamic and innovative
approach towards engaging primary school aged children in health related
activities. Specifically, children and young people are provided with
a range of opportunities to become more active more often and services
are designed to increase children's knowledge, understanding and awareness
of a range of factors which contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
The services delivered by the Recreation Partnership Project can be grouped
under three broad headings:-
Health Improvement in Primary Schools
Health Improvement in the Community
Employment and Training Opportunities
The Recreation Partnership Project is funded by East Ayrshire Council's
Leisure Development section, the Community Regeneration Fund and NHS Ayrshire
and Arran.
