HEALTH RELATED RESOURCES

The Recreation Partnership Project has developed three health related resource packs which are available for hire from East Ayrshire's Fun 4 Hire Service. See below for a brief description of each kit.

Fun Fitness
The Fun Fitness Kit contains a variety of child friendly fitness equipment which can be used to promote physical activity. The equipment included in the pack can be used for team games or to set up a circuit of exercises for up to 36 people

Healthy Choices
The Healthy Choices pack contains equipment which can be used within a quieter or a physical session to educate children about healthy eating in a fun way. All of the activities can be adapted to suit different ages and abilities and can be used with groups of up to 36 people.

Health Challenge Board Game
The Health Challenge Board Games can be used to develop childrens knowledge and understanding of factors which contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Two different sizes of the board game are contained within the pack allowing groups to use the game within either a quieter or physcial session.
