Tourism in East Ayrshire has been growing rapidly in recent years, and
one of the main reasons for this success has been the attraction of visiting
the many golf courses which exist in the area.
This part of Scotland is rightly famed throughout the world for the
range and quality of its golf courses, and in East Ayrshire the quality
of municipal golf courses, which exist for both resident and visitor alike,
is second to none. With both 9 and 18 hole courses, in some of the most
beautiful countryside in the world, there is something to delight and
challenge all players from beginners to seasoned pros.
The municipal golf courses operated by East Ayrshire Council are available
to visitors who may wish to go along and play. Please remember that you
