Reading Chains

What is a reading chain?
Four people are needed for the chain and you all pick and read a book. You record your views (just how you felt about the book, liked it or disliked it, definitely not a review) by filling in a short comments slip. You read your chosen book first and then read, and comment on, the three books chosen by the other members of the chain.

How do I join?
The library will put you together with three other people, who you may not know. Only the library staff will know all the participants of the chain.
Register at your local library or send us an email. When we have four people we will e-mail/contact you with a start date and you just pop into a nominated library and pick a book. Hand it back when finished together with your comments form. If the next book is available you will be given it or contacted by e-mail when it's ready to collect.
