Public Access PCs
Free access to Microsoft Office software applications -
word processing, spreadsheets and databases - and CD-ROMs are currently
available in all East Ayrshire Libraries.
Cumnock, Dalmellington, Dalrymple, Drongan, Galston and Kilmaurs
Community Libraries have I-Macs with a number of CD-ROMs, Appleworks
software and printer for public use.

A charge is made for printing where used. Disks can be purchased
from library staff.

You can browse the Internet
for free at any of the East Ayrshire Libraries.
Booking is again strongly advised
and although the service is free a charge is made for printing.

Family Learning Centres
Through partnership funding
with the Scottish Library & Information Commission we have opened
a family learning centre at Drongan Library. This facility offers
access to PCs, scanners, printers, iMacs and a range of learning
materials & CD-ROMs. Courses are also available and anyone interested
should contact library staff direct.
Working with the Coalfield's
Regeneration Trust we have also established two Family Learning Centres
at Cumnock and Dalmellington Libraries. These facilities
offer access to PCs, scanners, printers, iMacs and a range of learning
materials & CD-ROMs. Courses are also available and anyone interested
should contact library staff direct.
