The Grand Hall

The Grand Hall and its associated kitchens, changing areas, Art Halls and reception rooms have recently been the subject of an impressive refurbishment programme.

The very best in internal decor is combined with the most modern facilities to present a complex capable of meeting the needs of even the most stringent conference organiser.

With a maximum seated capacity of 900 (including 300 balcony seats), the Grand Hall is a venue favoured by large scale conference organisers as well as the country's top performers. With easy access to the stage and to the main auditorium and with an ample supply of electrical sockets and versatile lighting, The Grand Hall is ideal for large scale plenary sessions.

The Pillared Hall has a capacity of 250 and boasts a large well equipped kitchen with direct access into the Hall. Far from being restrictive, the pillars within the Hall add character and provide natural barriers for division into seminar sessions.

Art Hall 1 has a seating capacity of 150 and a stage (measuring 5 metres by 3 metres) to one end. It is entered through an ante-room which has a versatile area for bar, catering or cloakroom facilities. Art Hall 2 benefits from exceptional natural light thanks to its impressive atrium style roof. It has a seating capacity of 150.

The Grand Hall can be served by its own excellent caterers, The Stage Door Cafe.
