Pollution
The Pollution Control Team is responsible for dealing with certain types of pollution using the powers available under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Other pollution incidents are dealt with by SEPA.
Should you have any concerns about a pollution incident please contact the Environmental Health Department in the first instance, where advice will be given on the appropriate authority to deal with the issue, and an investigation launched where necessary.
