Register of public roads

The Register of Public Roads is a register of all roads adopted by East Ayrshire Council within the boundary of the East Ayrshire local authority.

The list includes:

• A class roads (such as A77)
• B class roads (such as B730)
• C class roads (such as C123)
• U class  roads (such as U21)
• All other adopted roads without numeric classification (such as Western Road)

Motorways and trunk roads are the responsibility of the Scottish Government. There are several trunk roads in East Ayrshire. These are:

• A76T and A77T.  Both of these are maintained by AMEY Highways. They can be contacted using the links in the external links section.
• M77T. This is maintained by Connect. They can be contacted using the links in the external links section.

This Register of Public Roads is under continual review and is regularly updated with new information and corrections.
