School admissions

Parents/carers should register children who will reach the age of five years between 1 March of the current year and 28 February of the following year at their local catchment area school. We advertise details of arrangements in local press (Kilmarnock Standard/Cumnock Chronicle) and on this page in December and January each year.

Check the day(s) and time(s) of enrolment and take your child to the local primary school during registration week. You will have to bring your child's birth certificate when he/she is enrolled at school.
