Composition
Number of Councillors: 7 (3 a quorum). (3/3/1).
Chair: In respect of Chief Executive and Executive Director posts, the Chair shall be the Leader of the Council. In respect of Executive Heads/Heads of Service posts, the Chair shall be the respective Chair or Spokesperson of the Service.
Leader and Depute Leader of the Council; a Spokesperson of the responsible Service for the vacant Chief Officer post or their nominees and three Members of the main Opposition party and one member from the other Opposition party.
Note
*Membership for the individual panels will be arranged by the Executive Director of Finance Corporate Support in consultation with the Leaders of the Administration and Opposition.

To short-leet, interview and appoint applicants for Chief Officer posts within the Authority.
