We are working with the Scottish Government and with a range of public and private sector partners to bring modern government to our customers.
Electronic or "e-government" is the process by which we enable council services to be accessed via new channels, typically based around the Internet.
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is the key we'll use to open up that access.
We want people to be able to interact with services at times that are convenient to themselves and in a range of locations.
Already you can access a variety of council services online:
