Website changes

If you are a regular visitor to our website, you will no doubt have noticed some big changes recently.

We have redeveloped our website to make it easier for you to access the information and services you want most often.

Like many other Councils across Scotland we've introduced the Scottish Navigation List  -  a standardised categories list of all the information and services you are most likely to want to find on a council website.  This should make it easier for you to find what you are looking for.

Online services

All the services that you used to have access to are still there - including your Customer Account, which lets you sign in to access secure services like checking rent or Council Tax balances.

Why not take a moment to check out our full list of Online Sevices under the further information section - you might find something useful that you didn't know was here.

Privacy concerns

If you haven't chosen to log in with your Customer Account, we aren't storing any private information about you. Instead, we are using "cookies" - small snippets of computer data - that are stored on your personal computer. You don't need to have these stored if you choose not to and you can delete them using your browser.

However, for any personalisation features that may exist on our site, you must enable your cookies  function. Check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences. Cookies do not represent a danger if used responsibly. Check out the link to wikipedia for more information.
