Population

Population data is gathered to assist service planning within the Council and to provide information for members of the public and the business community. The mid year estimate of population is updated each year and population projections are also prepared every two years by the National Records of Scotland (NRS).

East Ayrshire Population

The population of East Ayrshire in 2010 was estimated to be 120,240, of which there were 58,175 males and 62,065 females. The following population figures will be updated soon.
