Chief Executive
The Chief Executive of East Ayrshire Council is Fiona Lees.
The Chief Executive is the Council's Chief Policy Adviser and is the link between Council officials and elected members.
The Chief Executive has authority over all Council officers and is responsible for:

co-ordinating the forward planning of the Council's services and objectives

securing a corporate approach to the affairs of the Council

ensuring the Council's policies are implemented efficiently and effectively and that they give best value to the council taxpayer

maintaining the Council's relationships with other organisations.
