Marriages historical searches
Some pre-1855 marriage information for Ayrshire is available in the Ayrshire Old Parish Registers (OPR) held at the Dick Institute and the Burns Monument Centre, Kilmarnock.
Both locations also hold indexes to the births and marriages recorded in the OPR, allowing quick access to entries on the relevant microfilm.
Post-1855 marriage information is held by the Registration section which allows searches to be made on records at a fee.
