  • We maintain 102 playgrounds (including multi use games areas and sports walls)
  • We manage and maintain 45 cemeteries and churchyards across East Ayrshire
  • We respectfully provide for approx 700 funerals each year
  • Over 237,300 visits to the recreation facilities within school campuses
  • Over 37,000 people attended fitness classes run in Council facilities in 2010
  • Over 6,000 people participated in local health walks in 2010
  • 12,187 people attended CHIP exercise classes in 2010
  • We delivered over 1,600 night time StreetSport sessions in 2010
  • 360 community groups to delivered play and physical activities with our Fun 4 Hire Equipment Hire Service
