Kilmarnock offers a unique mix of some of the largest high street national retailers with the independent shopping experience offering a personal service second to none.
The main shopping area is centre around King Street, a pedestrian area where the majority of the nationals are located. M&S, BHS, Top Shop, River Island, Burton are just a few of the fashion shops, Boots, WH Smith, Games Station, Holland & Barratt, H. Samuels are just a sample of the others.
What makes Kilmarnock special is the abundance of independent and specialist shops. Music, promenade and wedding dresses, quality children’s clothing and shoes, hand-made stationary, art galleries, gifts, on trend fashion are just a few of the many on offer.
Kilmarnock also has three independent furniture shops all within close proximity of one another offering good quality furniture and soft furnishings.
Most of the independent shops are located in the Foregate, Bank Street, John Finnie Street and Titchfield Street.
Farmers market
Kilmarnock hosts a Farmers Market on the third Saturday of every month selling a range of locally produced food.
