Garden maintenance scheme

We run a garden maintenance scheme for tenants who are unable to look after their gardens. The service as is delivered by Outdoor Amenities on behalf of Housing Services, who manage the service.

The service consists of:

  • 9 grass cuts (April – September)
  • 3 hedge cuts (May, August & October)

To qualify for the scheme you must have a confirmed disability or have reached the age of 60 and have no one younger and fitter living in your home who can help. There is a charge for the scheme but if you receive a qualifying benefit then the scheme is free.

You can pick up an application form at your Neighbourhood Housing Office or phone for an application to be posted out to you.
