Funds for community groups
There is a wide range of funding sources available for community projects from, the UK Government, the European Union, charitable trusts and the National Lottery.
Eligibility for funding will depend on the nature of your organisation/group, activities that you are engaged in and the type and scale of the proposed project.
For further information you can contact the External Funding and Sustainability Officer using the details provided in the contact information section or complete the outline proposal form in the online forms section. This will allow us to assess the level of support required and respond to you with appropriate information.
The External Funding Service also runs regular funding advice surgeries throughout the area. If you would like to reserve a place on the next available surgery, please indicate this on the outline proposal form.
The External Funding Service cannot provide advice on accessing funding for individuals, unconstituted organisations or profit making businesses. However, the organisations opposite will be able to provide further information.
