All the information required set up an email account, to creating and sending email as well as sending and saving attachments and email safety.

Introduces search engines and how to use them, advises on the reliability of information found on the Internet and the methods used to navigate round the Internet.
Access to Online Services
Provides a description of services available on the Internet, detailing the issues involved on sending and recieving confidential information both personal and financial.
Producing Content
The section provides an overview of the different types of site available on the Internet, such as message boards and discussion groups, what they are and how to use them as well as an insight into how to create basic content for the web.
e-Citizen provides an opportunity to complete online transactions in specially developed mock sites, which have been created allowing the learner
to fill in a forms to book flights, view bank accounts online. |
